Tim rode on the wave of success and founded in 2004 Mondo Tees - a store where you can buy t-shirts

Film TV Search
It's an incredibly simple test you can take to find out if you are in the hardcore end of the film nerd spectrum. The test consists of a single question: "Do you know what a Mondo poster is?". If you answer yes to this question, you are one of us. Do you answer "no" then fear not - you will now be introduced to one of the coolest movie phenomena of recent times.
In 1998 bought Tim League one battered warehouse in Austin, Texas and created the famous / infamous theater Alamo Drafthouse, showing both new and old film. Tim was a passionate film lover and saw an opportunity to lift the whole cinema experience to a new level. He did this partly by incorporating some good old fashioned luxury in cinema. Instead of classic cinema seats, he set the whole thing as a kind of cabaret venue where guests kzk gop sat at tables and were served by waiters dressed.
Thanks to a number of special kzk gop events (such as screenings where the show got served the food that was eaten in the exhibited film) was Alamo Drafthouse quickly a success as alive and well today.
Tim rode on the wave of success and founded in 2004 Mondo Tees - a store where you can buy t-shirts with illustrations and photos of famous old movies. When Alamo Drafthouse same year organized a mini festival with ancient cult films at a local nightclub, he set designer Rob Jones to create unique posters kzk gop for the films that were shown at the event. Today appear not these particularly amazing, but this was still the beginning of the phenomenon that currently only runs under the name Mondo poster:
Since then, Tim League s Mondo business kzk gop grew steadily larger, and is now an institution in the global film map. Mondo has in fact developed into a small artist collective, which grinds out one super fat movie poster after another. As a reaction to today's relatively poor fantasy movie posters, throwing Mondo artists across films with a creative surplus that gives movie lovers the world over stars in their eyes. The posters can be both detailed and evocative illustrations, and ingenious in all its minimalism.
