July 26 we flew to Philippines, we would not go on vacation this year, but we decided we needs a break after the long term, we plan to a cheap vacation to the Philippines. From Korea, it is a really a very affordable vacation!
Our final destination was El Nido, Palawan, Philippines. This is one of the major islands in the Philippines, and El Nido is a town in the north of the island. There is no way to El Nido to, but with a 6 hour bus ride it.
We in Puerta Princesa, the capital of Palawan, arrived after a 4 hour delay at Manila airport, hornbunny we were at that time already well annoyed, Oja and we had a terrible thunderstorm takeoff.
We spent the night in a guest house and slept the next morning hornbunny quite early to the bus station we went to shuttle to El Nido catch. We drove 5 hours and stopped twice, the drive was horrible because the shuttle was so full of people that you have almost no legroom had.
We have 3 hours in El Nido arrived and it was amazing, the weather was but failed, but we were going to our inbook very cheap guest house, and when the little town is going to explore. hornbunny We have that day and night just having fun and kept things quiet, we were the next day an 'island hopping' tour to do. Our guest house are pretty bad, and we decided we're going to go somewhere else looking for the three nights we have not discussed yet.
The next morning when we woke up the sun was shining and we hit a "tricycle" hornbunny (motorcycle with a cart with extra seats) town and took us on a tour booked, we have A Tour done, it is the Lagoons tour. It was incredibly beautiful, the water is so clear and the 'limestone cliffs' is beautiful. We have many people to meet each friend. hornbunny The guides for your lunch on the beach while in the water and relax and snorkel. The lunch was amazing fresh fish, squid and fresh fruit, it was delicious. It started raining on the tour, which put a damper on the beauty of the area instead, because it's very foggy, but it was still beautiful.
The night we went to our friends who were also there's hornbunny going cabanas. We have to Melony and Charl met in Korea, Charl playing rugby with Stefan. They cabanas was a little hornbunny out of El Nido, but just as with the 15min tricycle. We enjoyed them little and walked on the beach. They have about a private beach all had very nice!
Then we went in 4 town and the people we met that day we met the tour, a British old Dutch girl and a Korean girl. We had a nice pizza meal and then a drink drink at the local beach bar! Stefan and I have for ourselves splaaplek discussed in the El Nido Beach Front Hotel, have been very very fancy, but just one night!
The next day the weather was VERY nasty, it is now wine monsoon (rainy) season is so bad it rained and the wind was blowing. We afgepreek if it rains we go to them Melony's cabana, and just the whole day chill. We then bought drinks and snacks, and we go there, we have all day to sit on the porch to relax and just enjoy the day, it is actually not so much rain, but we had a good time too. The night we went to a beach bar gone, Sea Slugs, there has such an awesome Filipino band played. They do covers, but they do absolutely brilliant, we had a pleasant visiting there.
The next day we decided to go with Melony and Charl a tour to do, because it was their last day and they were very keen on island hopping to do, the weather was risky, but we did it but we were on a private tour (just us 4). The first piece of the tour was nice, but then down a storm while we were on the water, the wind and pumped it gesous, we had to seek shelter while the guides for our lunch made. The weather now and then cleared, but the sea was rough, I was pretty scared. The photo below I bumped my cell phone while snorkeling, it became hard rain. We kept our rain coats on. Despite the rain, the island and the places still beautiful, we could not find the 'secret beach' do not, because it was too dangerous, you must be by roste swim at the beach, but the waves were too rough, so we could not do it.
